We ate here and found the service terrible and the food even worse. My girlfriend and myself BOTH were sick after eating here. Would not recommend.

Creative pub food, lovely burgers. Staff are friendly and quick service at the bar. Was really a pleasant find close to East Croydon station.
I admit it, I was greedy. A delicious boerwors in a crusty bread roll. Excellent sirloin cooked precisely with really good double (or was it triple) cooked chips. A taste of some lovely kudu. Pretty decent puds. I was a happy lad.
I love this place. It's a proper English pub with a hint of posh-trattoria furniture. What I love the most it's the food. The menu is very original and no kidding...they have crocodile! The food is fresh and delicious. Also, I like the idea of the chef coming out his hot kitchen for a bit of socializing!
We stumbled across this bar, the best in the area for miles. The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. They have many different game meals on their menu from springbok to crocodile. This is the best bar in the area, you can eat, then drink in there all night..
The only competition is in south Croydon. This...

The food is fantastic and there are some very interesting and unusual dishes. Definitely a destination pub for food, but not for drinking. The pub is in the Good Beer Guide so the ales are very well-kept, but the range is relatively dull and doesn't vary much. The main problem is that most evenings the pub (which is not large)...

This place is fantastic.
Walking past it you wouldn't assume there was anything special inside - and that's a good thing. If it looked anywhere near as special as it's food is it would be booked out for years!
It's a South African themed eatery with ample space for dining out back. The food is consistently great and I've never...

I would like to say that the food in the Glamorgan is very good indeed. Great portion size and very tasty. Most of the pubs in Croydon have a "chain like" feel to them and the food is not anything to write home about, however the Glamorgan is the exception to this and I very much recommend this friendly welcoming...

Not sure what we expected and don't usually venture in to the quieter parts of Croydon - but it turned out to be a great meal. Menu had some interesting South African-based food, including crocodile and burgers. But we stuck to more conventional fare and the sirloin steak was one of the best I have eaten recently. Service is attentive...

Seems to open when they feel like it, not necessarily including friday nights or other times you would expect. Not very good food priced as if it were bib gourmand- felt robbed. Drinks also rip off and manager objectionable.
