Tasteless Spaghetti Bolognese. Second time we had been there, first time was gorgeous, but was a couple of years ago. That was the reason we went, both my wife and I were looking forward to great Italian cooking. But very disappointing indeed.

My wife and I received a recommendation from our B&B host for this restaurant. We went in and found that our wait was going to be about 20 minutes so we strolled down the block looking for somewhere else to eat. Nothing exceptional found so we walked back and waited. We were both glad we did.

Not too busy, 1 waiter pretty unhelpful bordering on surly the other was fine. Ordered chicken with vegetables and potatoes. Plates almost cold - a bad sign- and vegetables and potatoes just reheated from who knows when - indelible. When complained the cost of the 2 beers was taken off the bill. A big disappointment after a recommendation
Very busy place great place to eat. Food made fresh .Fantastic food and loads to choose. Kids welcome. We went for birthday celebration and would definitly go back. All of our party was satisfied and staff were great. All of our food came hot and very yummy! Good prices. Can't wait til my next meal from there.

(so difficult in fact that came back the next night and had my second choice, since my first choice was fantastic) Service was really good as well, despite it being so busy. It quite...

The menu had lots to choose...

Plain frontage may put some off, but believe me don't let it. Food is first class, portions are more than enough. Staff though always busy while we were there had time to keep a close eye on things. Can recommend if you don't mind being close to other diners etc as it is small & cosy. We talked to some...

Called in after getting a recommendation from our b and b (The Aln House). The place was busy but not heaving and so we were seated immediately. It was definitely not an upmarket place, however the welcome was warm and the staff were attentive and service was timely. There was a small range of specials and the usual menu of...
