Recommended to us by the B&B owners, this is a really nice place to experiance fine fish. I would recommend this place to anyone for an evening meal. Quality fresh fish, seasonal and simply cooked and good value for money. I would recommend the Hake, but thats just my taste...
We have been eating in Murrays for more years than I care to remember. Anyone into their boats who has stepped foot in Cowes will have eaten here and with good reason.
If you like your fish then you won't be disappointed. Vegetables are simple, there are non fish alternatives, the wine list won't break the bank and if you...

I have been coming to Murray's for many years and have never been dissatisfied. The service is friendly and efficient and the prices very reasonable. The fish is the best around, unrivaled by any fish I have eaten in the uk to date. Simple and unpretentious to the core. Thoroughly recommended to all.
We went to eat at Murrays following the glowing recommendations on Trip Advisor and other dining sites, but to be completely honest were a little disappointed in what we experienced.
When we walked into the place, we were immediately on edge - as the place was pretty full, but it was deathly silent. Because there was no music, and people...

Have used this restaurant many times, never disappointed. Fish always fresh and beautifully presented and served. Staff always very friendly and helpful.

We were there on a Wednesday evening late in October and most tables were used. We had not booked at were fitted in OK. The fish and the gamekeepers...

Specialising in fresh seafood, but a good range of other dishes; I could not resist the Gamekeepers Pie! I believe very popular especially in summer, when you probably have to book in advance, as it is only small. Even on a Wednesday evening in October, there was only one table not booked. Very good value for money for the excellent...

Really pleased with our choice for the evening. We knew that the restaurant was fully booked but being the first to walk into an absolutely silent restaurant is always a bit awkward. Some gentle music might be a good idea.
Food was delicious, wine was very good too. Service slick, but didn't feel at all rushed.
Only comment I would...

If like us you do not like being rushed or having a late meal Murray's is not the place for you as they have two sittings.
They also ran out of the wine we had all ordered!
Service was good but we will not be going back I am afraid.
If you do visit this establishment and do not mind...
