We dined with two other couples at this restaurant. The food was excellent. The server, however, was very arrogant. He did not answer our questions about food selections or wine. He assured us that he would give individual checks to each couple, but when he presented the bill, it was for the entire party. He said he couldn't give individual... More

This is an authentic Sicilian restaurant in that what is being served is traditional home-cooking versus Sicilian fine dining. The entire menu is standard Italian fare (not meaning Italian-American red-sauce style dishes) using quality but simple basic ingredients that stand out for their superior flavor rather than skilled preparation. To anyone not acquainted with family-style Italian food, this is what... More

Etna is definitely one of the most authentic Italian restaurants in Little Italy. Pepe the chef (who is from Sicily) is extremely personable and takes great care to craft genuine Italian food. The staff is also very friendly and goes out of its way to make your meal memorable. I also think the Etna has the most cozy bar in... More

Food was great! fresh and tasty. We decided to go for specials. Started with calamari appetizer, some white wine and salad, then swordfish with greens, trout with potatoes and asparagus, mussels, scallops, calamari and a piece of fish I don't remember the name. All food we ordered was fresh, well prepared and delicious. Everything was outstanding. Waiter was really helpful,... More

We dined there last night and besides the quaintness of the place, it is quite small where all conversations are heard. the waiter was curt and did not seem to have had any lessons in waitering. We ordered wine and after the first pour we had to pour our own wine. We ordered an appetizer( calamari special). very bland no... More

Got the last table for two near the door and we very pleased we didn't have to wait. This is a slow food type of food experience! Great diverse Italian menu, no pressure from the staff to rush through our meal. Everyone in the place really seemed to be enjoying themselves and staying a long time. Their bathroom is CLEAN... The specials were outstanding. Some of the best sauteed calamari I had in a long long time. Fresh, never frozen, tender, juicy. The Sword fish steak was at the same quality level. Intense in flavor. The wine list is decent and good quality at not too high prices. The ambience is nice, small family style place. Overall a very positive... More

I've been there twice and I'm ready to go back. I sat at the bar for dinner and had a great meal, great service and felt a warm vibe. The food is fresh and well made. My mom thought even the dinner salad was great. The wine list is good with reasonable prices. The wine glasses are classy. The wait... More

This is one of our favorite places in Little Italy. We’ve been here several times and it seems to get better each time. The menu is typical of what you see in Italy: antipasti (appetizers), first plate (pasta, ravioli, etc.), second plate (meat and fish), etc. I think the chef is from Italy. The menu is large with numerous pastas,... More
