2013-03 Buffet price for Adult $290pesos for child $145pesos I had eaten perfect Yucatan meal in Mexico city. So...in my opinion, the Yucatan meals of this restaurant are not delicious. For fill stomach, I will go to this restaurant. For taste of Yucatan meals, I won't come here twice.

Just last Sunday, on May 19th. 2013 my wife and I decided to take a 110 miles trip from Merida, Yucatan to Valladolid, Yucatan, just for fun and to try out this restaurant. The temperature was around 100ºF and 75% humidity. We parked our car and started walking towards the restaurant. Ha, ha, ha... closes on Sundays. No sign or... More

Good Restaurant with a typical Mexican smorgasbord, great service and quiet and peacefull if you avoid the tourist buses! Maricela Osorio was helpful and friendly (besides attractive!). Good place for photos as there is some interesting things at the back.....

My family and I went to this restaurant because of a Chichen Itza tour we did - this was the lunch stop. While the restaurant was really nice and had a lot of food to chose from - we all got Montezuma's Revenge after visiting which made the rest of the trip somewhat miserable for us. I'm assuming it was... More

Well kept, clean, and good service. Food was good for a buffet. May Maya dishes were offered for a taste of the Maya country. Restoration of the Casonas was great.

Great food, great selection, just too tempting to overeat, which I did. The location to the side of the charming plaza was a great beginning to our stay in Valladolid.

Yes, it is a beautiful place, but it's basically made up for tourists, and big groups arrive during the whole day. It's ok for a quick picture and maybe a sneak in the handcrafts shop if it's your first time in Mexico, but it's really quite expensive and not very real.

We had a pretty good early dinner here, from the a la carte menu as the buffet was finished. We had sopa de lima (lime-flavoured chicken broth with shredded chicken and tortilla croutons), plus a platter of local food, including a couple of very good things, like pollo and cochinita pibil (chicken / pork cooked in a rich orangey sauce)... Dear visitor, We are very glad to read that you enjoyed your meal at La Casona. We´d like to share with you that some typical Yucatan dishes, like Pollo Pibil and Cochinita Pibil, are prepared on a sour orange juice base, what might seem like oil but it is not. Besides, fried food, that is very typical too, is cooked... More

After a wonderful tour of Chichen Izta we were amazed at this town and all its history. The food here is just amazing, so fresh and very pleasantly soothing. The atmoshphere is untouchable, cool breeze flowing through the place. And to get treated to some extras at the nice little shops. It was the best and last part of our... More
