Yves has moved from the Lakeshore at Colon to the western end of Ajijic on the Carretera Chapala-Jocotepec. Great ambience and the food is still very good. Quite easy to find.
great food and drinks .....nice view of the lake ..... Ives is a great human being ....feeds "loco Pedro's " burro after Pedro died ( bring a carrot ) LOL....wonderful food and wine selection
We have been to Yves many times over the past couple of years. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, while not fine dining or spectacular it is dependable, the food usually well prepared and the place is clean. Typically service has been good and we find Yves is a great place to view the lake, enjoy the breeze and sit down to... More
Sit on the veranda or indoors. Sitting on the veranda you get a lovely breeze and a view of lake and mountains. The service was good, but the food was over priced and not plentiful. As for the flavour, it lacked. I have eaten there on other occasions and the food wasn't that great. Yves was not my choice of... More
This restaurant has a fabulous view of Lake Chapala with a very good salad bar, attentive waiters and of course, Yves, the wonderful host. The salad bar is available separately or comes with the entree. We like to go here for brunch, lunch or dinner.
We had breakfast there early one morning. We were the first customers and the service was excellent. The pancake was exceptional. Eggs, bacon, toast, pan potatoes were all good. We plan to go back just for the pancake.
Yves offers a fresh lakeside setting for its delicious fare. We generally have breakfast while we enjoy the tranquility of this lakeside setting. The food is good, not that creative, but tasty. The mojitos, however, really pack a punch. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the owner, Yves, is always there to greet us and share a story.
One of our favorites spots in Ajijic. Great Lake Chapala setting, very good food. Easily the best chimichangas we have ever had. Plus, Yves, the owner, is worth the visit. His is an amazing story.
My daughter, her bf and I spent the day @ Lake Chapala and environs, heading into Ajijic in the early afternoon. Since Alejandro, the bf was driving, he knew of a place on the wharf in Ajijic and wanted us to eat there, but it was closed indefinitely. So we walked along the beach and found Yves. The open deck... More
Went with a group of ladies for lunch. Menu is varied. Quesadillas looked great, I got the Taco salad which was very big, bordering on huge for 80 pesos. It was good but lacked flavor. I did bring home enough for another meal. Menu is varied in prices and variety. Would try again. Location: on the lake, but access is... More
