It should not take 2 hours for dinner unless you are specifically aiming to draw out a dining experience.
The Toasted Frog (North 4th St, Bismarck, ND) has grown to be one of my favorite places to dine and drink while working long-term in this far-away part of the Great Plains. Clearly, management and the chef put a lot of time and effort into the food (quality, uniqueness, and presentation) and beer and wine selection. This is a respite... More
I thought that our food was good, above average for bismarck but I know other than having trouble getting shark at the grocery store I know I can make the same steak at home. We both enjoyed our meals and appetizers, the food was good and the portions are perfect for a meal....we did not walk away in pain and... More
I was staying at the hotel a few blocks down the street on a business trip and decided to stop in to The Toasted Frog for a bite and a drink. Service was top notch as was the food. They also make a mean martini with a wonderful wine selection. Knowledgeable staff made for a very nice evening in downtown... More
This restaurant was packed on Wednesday night. THis must be one the top places to eat in Bismarck based on the wait to eat. The food was excellent, as was the service. They have a lot of beer on tap and two beers we tried wewre good. They also specialize in martinis.
The food was great and the atmosphere was fun! What more can you ask for?

This is a great place to go for drinks in Bismarck. We also ordered a fruit and cheese platter, and that was... interesting. All the fruit... More
