I was surprised at the size of the interior of Mama's Pizza, as it looks very small from the outside--but I think they may have taken in two store fronts instead of just one. Definitely a family restaurant with good food and hospitality! I thoroughly enjoyed my huge portion of chicken parmesan with spaghetti. And friendly customers--I was given a... More

I have driven through Plymouth, NC, on many occasions. There is a large billboard going west on US 64 for this restaurant. Timing was right- lunch time. They have a buffet that obviously includes about 8 varieties of pizza, pasta, and meat balls. I had several varieties of pizza and tried the meatballs. The pizza was great, perfectly seasoned, just... More

You will not find more fabulous Italian food than with Giovanni at Mama's Pizza in Plymouth. He takes great pride in the quality of his food and you will leave well fed as a result. The only problem is "everyone" loves Mama's as much as we do resulting in a bit of a crowd during regular lunch and dinner hours.... More

I like the supersub and they put all the trimings on it. The weekend buffet is a good choice as well.

We visit in Plymouth twice every year. It is a good stop on the way to the beach. We found out about this restaurant from the hotel we always stay at when we visit Plymouth. My wife loves the lasagna. I always order the pizza. Best in this state. Good service. Good food.

We stopped at Mama's on the way back from OBX based on the only other review in TripAdvisor at the time. And are we glad we did. Great pizza, and not just for small town NC (we are from Arlington, VA). And a good value. The owner is from Sicily (he's been in the States for 25 years), and still... More

I spent two nights in Plymouth, and I kept asking the very friendly locals where the best place was to go for dinner. The unanimous answer was Mama's Pizza. I took their advice, and was VERY glad that I did. My "small" thin crust pizza, described on the menu as 9 inches in diameter, was just perfect ... and it... More
