We discovered P Jacks in June 2012. Our family dined there and we LOVED it. We went twice during the vacation, returned for Thanksgiving buffet (ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS SPREAD), and we most recently held the rehearsal dinner for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. Doug is such a great guy to work with. His staff is professional and very well versed in... More

Can't say enough about our delicious brunch at Pamlicp Jacks. The oysters on the half shell were ice cold and salty, the tarragon salmon out of this world, the fried oysters were crisp and light, the cream of crab soup was full of crab and I could go on and on. Everything was displayed beautifully and kept replenished. In addition,... More

In celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, we decided to eat dinner here. My grilled mahi dish with the feta cheese and cream sauce was out of this world! My husband's steak and scallops were of the same caliber. Everything from the sweet bread and rolls with butter to the mandarin orange creme cake was well worth every penny we paid.... More

The day that we arrived in Nags Head last week it was gloomy, rainy and cold. My husband and I decided to come here for dinner. I would say that its casual fine dining. For starters, I had a cup of the she-crab soup. The soup was hearty and had a nice texture! They have a nice wine list too!... More

My flounder stuffed with crab meat was very good. Our server did not seem to know that sea scallops were in season and accessible from Roanoke Island. Otherwise, he did a nice job. The restaurant was a bit pricey but the view of the sunset was amazing.

This is a high end tourist stop. The food is better than most but it is not the best - the service was fast and friendly. Good place for the family with children. It is NOT the place for it's selection of fresh fish!

This place was a little pricey, but the food was very good. The smashed potatoes were out of this world delicious. Seafood and steaks were cooked well and our waiter was a local kid that was super nice!!!

My fiance and I were scoping out possible wedding venues last February for our June 2013 wedding. Being local, we knew about Pamlico Jacks and the upstairs event room, and the wide deck they have out back facing the sound. I assumed that it was out of our budget to have the reception there. Boy was I wrong. Doug Tutwiler,... More

This place has outdoor seating (great sunset) and seared ahi tuna - bingo. Coming from cold new england temps, I insisted on sitting outdoors even though all other customers were inside. 70 degrees and 20-25 mph winds. Perfect. The waitress was happy to make the trek to the deck for me, obliged me with my order for a combination not... More
