This place is very over rated everything is overloded with salt couldnt even get past the chips and salsa. The burritos were soggy and the wait time was rediculous.
We had found a number of good Mexican restaurants in the area. This one is a keeper. The food was generous and very tasty, we had the spicy fajita combo. Many choices invite one back again.
We have been driving from Spartanburg, SC to Hendersoonville, NC for several years now to get good Mexican food. Almost all of the Mexican restaurants in the upstate SC area all seem the same, as if they have 4 pots of ingredients and they just serve a mix of the pots, no green chili, no salsa verde all the same... If you want to pig out on cheap Mexican food, go here. I stop by sometimes when in town but the place needs a lot of work and a good cleaning, With dining room so poorly maintained makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like,
Love my usual, warm fajita salad. Something for everyone and always great! One can't go wrong eating here. My 10 year old loves as well
We had not eaten much Mexican until we moved to Hendersonville, but after trying Papas and Beer we will be eating it often!
We ate here last night with friends. There was a wait (Friday night) but we were seated within 10 minutes. Wonderful, warm chips and salsa. The four of us ate different orders, but I had the shrimp enchiladas which were fabulous. I would recommend this restaurant highly - very authentic.
This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants around. The portions are huge so there's always plenty to take home. Service is fast and friendly. Excellent bean dip served with your chips. Hope to come back here again one day.
We've eaten plenty of high-quality Mexican food in our travels around the US and Mexico, and this is by far one of the best restaurants we've ever visited. The service was fast and friendly; the food was incredible and plentiful, the prices were incredibly low, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I wish that this restaurant was in my own town... More
