Our extended family were visiting Charlotte for a graduation at UNC. Eight of us visited Carpe Diem on Sunday for Mother's Day brunch Loveley decor, excellent atmosphere, great service and wonderfull food. What more can I say? The restaurant was fairly quiet the night when I attended a business oriented dinner. The food was fine. Don't expect any exceptional.

My significant other and I had a wonderful meal last Saturday evening. We started with the oyster special and a sald. The oysters were exceptional and our entrees were great. The fried chicken was better than the mushroom ragout. We've eaten here several times and the service has been very good and the food imaginative.

We stayed in Charlotte for the night and looked on trip advisor to find somewhere to eat. This was one of the only top ten restaurants open past 10pm on a Saturday. The fried chicken breast with Yukon potatoes are delicious. Try it!!! I would sed anyone to this place. Awesome for Date nights!!!
