Description: When you walk through the shadowed glass doors of Talulla's, an instant transformation begins to occur. Your mind and body begin to relax. Your ears pick up on the eclectic mix of music. Your eyes wonder around the walls, decorated in Turkish rugs; then the ceilings, scattered with warm, unique lighting pieces; then the floors... the dark, hardwood floors; and finally, across the plush seating areas, disguised by cushions and pillows and fabric leisurely draped around the frames.

An adventure from the moment we looked in the window. Greeted and seated by a genial man who ended up being our waiter, we sat down in Turkey. We were guided through the menu and agonized over the options. I ordered the yogurt-mint drink, with a tangy, salty bite. The tart cherry juice was also very nice. The sauce that... More

Wonderful date night place, especially if you sit in the little curtained nook! The drinks are good and so is the food, but the desserts are to die for! The waitstaff is really nice and does not expect you to be able to pronounce the names of the Turkish menu items, which is a plus (for me). This place is... More

We enjoyed our meal here a lot, both for the food and for the experience as a whole. It's a very warm atmosphere, with deep colours and huge, beautiful rugs on the wall (I can't see why other reviewers have found the decor dingy). The service was outstanding: quite formal initially, friendly and knowledgeable when we opened the conversation up... More

This establishment far exceeds all of the reviews we read on it's excellency. Having been to Istanbul on 2 different trips, we thought this might be an American stab at Turkish cuisine. However, this was not case! It was as good, if not better, than anything we had while traveling in the country itself. From the outstanding dip for the... More

Food is delicious! Second visit there as a group and we all enjoyed our meal. From appetizers to entrees, we were all satisfied. The chicken was moist and tasty. Even the pita and dipping oil is delicious. The reason the restaurant is getting an average score though is the decor is starting to look a little worn out and you... More

Based on other reviews, my husband and I recently ate here following a basketball game. Great atmosphere and outstanding food. Service was top notch. We started with the hummus, and I had the Balik Sis and my husband had Talullah's Guvec. The flavor combinations were unbelievable, and everything we had was light and fresh. We thought it was an excellent... More

We had the pleasure of going to Taullas for New Year's Eve with a party of 12. It was a limited menu for the holiday with a wine pairing and every dish was wonderful. We had salad, main course and dessert and couldn't have been more pleased. Everyone was happy with their meal and the flavors were fresh and exotic.... More

This review is based on four visits to Talullas over a period of 9 months. In a very welcoming atmosphere, they offer outstanding Turkish food. Ever dish we have had so far was a great combination of flavors that complimented each other perfectly. On top of that, the ingredients are very fresh and the portions are more than either my... Talullas is the real thing! The owner and staff are Turkish and have a hospitality background in Turkey. The menu includes traditional Turkish and Middle Eastern dishes, but also specials. And the sea food is outstanding--always fresh. Desserts are also delicious. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and enjoy talking about the food, their country, and answering any questions you might... More
