Named after the handicapped son of one of the original owners Tony's soon became known for fine cuisine and its live entertainment on weekends. Having won numerous awards from local magazines for its outstanding cuisine and entertainment, Tony's has been a fixture within southern Wake County for over 15 years. Tony's Oyster Bar & Restaurant serves the best in fresh seafood, steaks and Italian dishes in a casual relaxing atmosphere. We also have a full service steamed bar featuring fresh oysters, shrimp, crab legs and more. Went here around midnight after a late night in the office on a work trip. Poor selection of bourbon but what I expected. At least they had Maker's. I had the bang bang shrimp which was great. Gives Bonefish a run for there money.

I went to this restaurant with two of my friends. We sat for several minutes before we were finally acknowledged at the oyster bar. The female server took our orders. We waited and waited and waited. Finally our appetizers arrived. We had asked for small plates and we waited and waited and waited. Finally the female server, stated, oh yah,... More

Great restaurant, service was friendly from beginning to end. Manager was great got us right in. Wait staffer was very pleasant, helpful and warm. Oysters were tasty, the cocktail sauce - some of the best I've had.

Teh Oysters Rockefeller and the nachos had what we think was cheese in a jar spread all over them. We couldn't quite figure out the type of cheese but it definitely was out of a jar or industrial container. The spinach on the oysters was also a mystery---probably canned spinach and Bacos. We didn't finish the oysters, the nachos or... More

I ordered the Oyster's Rockefeller and it was ok, not that great. The steamed oysters were better. Our server was great and she kept up with our large tables drink orders. They had entertainment from a band called Love Tribe and they were excellent! Fun place to go but not for the food.

I have eaten at Tony's on several occasions over the past few years, most recently December 2012, and can heartily recommend the oyster bar. However, if you're not there for the oyster bar, go find another seafood restaurant. I find the steamed oysters consistently good (note that we don't order oysters around here except in the months with an "r"... More

Went to lunch yesterday against my better judgement. Our previous visit to this establishment was rather aweful from the food to the service. But I did not realize I had another living social deal which was about to expire. So went for lunch, service was terribly slow, wait staff was nice enough but 10 minutes after taking our order, the... More

I arrived in town looking for a lunch at 3:00 pm. Seems many restaurants close from 2-5pm... which I have never understood but Tony's was open. I entered and there was only two other diners. The waitress was very friendly. The lunch menu was limited so I expected that the food they offered would be fresh. The complimentary hush puppies... More

This restaurant is a favorite of my in-laws, so when we visit Cary, we sometimes come here for dinner. On this occasion, my wife and I were caring for a handicapped family member who especially likes the oysters, so we brought him to Tony's. Our waitress, Bridget, was a great help to us, and she probably didn't even realize the... More

We have tried the Sunday oyster bar in the past and it was excellent - great service, food was awesome and the price was great!!!! We had purchased the Living Social special so we thought that we would go on a quiet Sunday evening around 6:00 pm - well they were having a shagging club halloween party (could not carry... More
