We've lots of excellent bakeries in Atlanta and the orange cardamom rolls and fantastic olive bread could hold their own anytime against the bread here. A truly superb local bakery I have frequented dozens of times. Don't miss it on your next trip.

Ordered a sticky bun, it was served cold and kind of hard. I wasn't really impressed. My husband ordered a blueberry muffin and said that it was the best one he had ever had, so maybe I should have chosen something else?
We visited Bracken Mountain Bakery last year on a trip to Brevard, and were really impressed by the scones and bread. When we returned to Brevard again this year, it was definitely on our list of places to go back to. We were not disappointed! The scones are all great, especially the cranberry maple. The bread is nice and crusty....

Oh, what a bakery! Wonderful Breads, pastries, and coffee. Location is right in the heart of downtown, and a great place to get a good cup of coffee and maybe a pastry or two.
Everything was delicious. I became addicted to the chai tea after just one cup. They had good crusty bread that reminded me of Germany and great pastries! Don't forget they have WiFi! :)
Very friendly staff. Cute shop. Small selection, but everything we had was delicious. Very good prices. Try the cherry scone--very intense cherry flavor. The chocolate croissant was great, too.
A friend recommended I check out Bracken Mountain Bakery and their statement about it being the best bread outside Europe took me aback. Not wanting to be disappointed, I tried not to have high expectation, but it didn't disappoint! Well, except for running out of baguettes the last day I was in town when I wanted to bring some back...

Picked up a small loaf of sun dried tomatoe and cheese to go with my homemade beef soup, per their recommendation. Delicious. And I picked up cookies for the hospital staff, taking care of my aunt, they loved it. Big cookies for $1/. I had brought treats for them before but these went quickly!
I love this bakery for a pastry and coffee. I wish they would add some booths or upholstered chairs to add some coziness, but the food, coffee & service are great. You'll see a lot of locals here.
Being gluten sensitive, I don't get baked goods often, but we always stop by and get their organic dog biscuits. The dogs recognize the white bags and go crazy.
