BEST food I'd ever eaten! Always get the Angus Burger or Chicken Sandwich can't go wrong with either & the french fries... MMMM Perfect crunchiness!

Average food for the price, and takes far too long to be served for a lunch meal. Only went once as a guest of the owner, so glad I didn't have to pay.

You know it's a great burger when they have to give you extra napkins. The burger is bigger than the bun and it was cooked perfectly.

Husband and I dined here while visiting Blk Mt.....Sunday Brunch was excellent!! I had the breakfast panini....fried egg, ham and melted Swiss cheese with a Dijonaise that finished the flavors nicely. The service was good, food was excellent and dining on the deck on a pleasant Sunday morning with my honey...priceless!!!! If you want great food in a very casual... More

I took my family to this little cafe for breafast and we dined outside, admiring the beautiful garden area. It is an old house converted to a cafe, complete with horse shoes to play with in the backyard when you are through eating. I had the standard eggs, sausage, and home fries breakast. The eggs were perfect, sausage was good,... More

We love this place....we try to visit our family in Black Mountain a couple times of year and Oak House has been something we look forward to every time. We take the entire family (kids, grandkids) and enjoy their great food and friendly, warm atmosphere. They have the best sandwiches which can be enjoyed in the outdoors with beautiful views.

We've recently gone out to Black Mountain (from Asheville) twice to have brunch on Sunday and lunch during the week. We were lucky enough to join friends at the re-opened Oak House Food and Friends. The weather was great and their outside dining is the best. We all have ordered something different and have to say that their hamburgers, paninis,... More

I found the food very greasy and was not cooked as odered. Toase was cold and not buttered. My only other concerned was I didn't find health options such as low fat offerings or fruit.
