Loved Bellota at 42, very hip and funky vibe, like you are in NYC! The food is great, the sangria is wonderful and the service is excellent! You really feel like you are someplace special, it is casual yet elegant with great views over White Plains, worth a visit!

On the same floor as 42 in White Plains. We love this place. Terrific tapas, wonderful location and great service. Proof that White Plains has come along way from the poor relation to the Manhattan dining scene

Will took a friend out for a retirement celebration and didn't want a traditional restaurant setting. Bellota at 42 fit the bill perfectly. We got there just around 6:00 and the place was buzzing. We opted fpr the banquettes and low tables so we could get a view of White Plains and the sunset, which turned out to be gorgeous.We... More

This place has a great view of White Plains. Their food is completely over priced and is NOT worth the money. Service was great but they really need to hire a new chef. I travel a lot and have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world and this place compares to none of them. I've had a... More

15 or 20 food bloggers like myself & my husband were invited to join the food editor of a local online & print media company to have tapas at Bellota. Everything from the decor, service and food was fabulous. I'm not going to lie, there is a good chance the service was so spot on because we were a large... More

This place was a terrible DISAPPOINTMENT. I made a reservation about 10 days in advance to celebrate my anniversary and was really looking forward to trying a new restaurant especially because I just had a baby in August and rarely get to go out with my husband these days. The hostess walked us upstairs and showed us to the worst... More

Driving an hour and a half to have dinner with friends seems a little ridiculous but let me tell you, the dining experience at Bellota is well worth the driving! I've travelled the world and eaten plenty of amazing food but when I want something delicious closer to home this is where I go. The tapas style is not a... More

Bellota's tapas food is absolutely to DIE for. I consider myself a picky eater but on my first visit I promised my fiance I would take a risk and just "eat". Let me tell you, it changed my restaurant experience forever! For a cautious person, the menu ingredients can be a bit intimidating but as long as you know you... More

Food was excellent, but there are service issues. Staff wanted to clear plates of tapas before we were finished with them. As evening went on, music became louder -- oppressive. Could not hve a conversation. When manager asked reply was "others like it" -- hardly anyone else there and all seemed to be struggling to talk. Would be much better... More

Some will enjoy this restaurant, but know what you're getting into. It's a lovely, contemporary setting at the top of the Ritz. The tapas are pretty good, and fun to share. The service so-so. But on weekends and Wednesdays they have a DJ, and the noise level is not to be believed. You literally cannot hear the person across the... More
