I don't ever buy cookies, cakes or pies because I bake my own, but I will buy from Tate's! Her lemons bars and shortbread cookies are particularly good. Everything is good there.

This place sells the best french baguettes in Southampton. Crispy exterior, light and moist interior, well sized. I haven't had bread like this since i was in Paris. Their croissants are exceptional as well and my houseguests love their coffee with croissants from Tate's. The decorated cakes are lovely and their fresh squeezed orange juice is amazing!

The shop is small but packed with lots of fabulous and fresh bakery items. Prices are a bit steep, but, it's the Hamptons so no surprise there. a staple of life in southampton. the breads are fantastic; the bakery items sublime. love the cupcakes too. and the cakes: strawberry = delish, chocolate always yummy. there is even a no-sugar apple pie that is a family fav.

The very best bake shop within 100 miles of NYC, hands down. Bring a fat wallet but well worth every bite.

OMG! There is nothing is this bakery that is not yummie.....I remember when it was Kathleen's Cookie! It has expanded over the years, but has not lost sight of good homemade baking! Don't forget to try the chocolate mousse cake......

We stooped 2 mornings and coffee And pastries were great. Agree with others that staff can have a little attitude . Overall a great start to the day.

I can remember eating Kathleen's (now Tate's) chocolate chip cookies back in 1986--and you know what? They still taste exactly the same--delicious!
