We ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The place was busy, and a limping, elderly man was trying his best to seat people. He was barking orders at the waitresses and they were talking back to him. Customers were seated with no menus, with no silverware. It was chaos. A large corner booth had a “reserved” sign on it,... Stopped in there for a bite before a movie with my wife. Service was great but the food was mediocre at best. My haddock dinner had two slabs of identically shaped "filets" - obviously manufactured and frozen. Tasted like frozen as well. My wife returned next day with a coupon that she forgot to use the night before and asked... More

We have frequented this restaurant and have always been impressed by the fast service, the delicious food (we go for breakfast), and the more than reasonable prices. We haven't been since they moved to the new location, only because we live further now, but we have family that still goes there and continues to be impressed.

This diner is at a new location, a former dry cleaners. The greatest improvment is cleanliness. II's decor reflects the 50"s, very bright and in your face. Our waitress quickly brought us water and menus. Unfortunatly she had piercing on eyebrow, nose, tongue and bottom lip. OMG.. Talk about a turn off. The owner or manager (I'm not sure) came out... We went to The Scotia Diner in Scotia NY and this is our second bad experience since the reopening of it. SO needless to say they have lost us as customers. The waitress was not attentive to us as her customers and we were left waiting for refills on our coffee cups, cooks yelling from the back for waitresses to... More

Place looks great. Went with family, moms eggs benidict was great, my beef sandwich is something I will not order again, dry, steak ums on a burger roll is what it tasted like. I will give a second try but might stick to breakfast foods.

Place looks cool. Hostess was polite and cheerful, I wish she was our waitress!! I ordered a side salad and it was 3.99. I figured it would be a decent size for that price, but I was totally shocked to find the opposite! I returned it immediately. Cottage cheese was old tasting and tasted like a cheap off-brand label brand.... More

The new diner had a great write up in the Schenectady Gazette so we thought we would give it a try. The 50s look was welcoming, the food was good, but the greeter at the door left a lot to be desired. She reprimanded the waitress for not having bussed a table where we would be sitting; making it awkward... More

The food is generally good. We go there for breakfast. Occasionally the home-fries and sausage has a slight burnt taste to it but that can be overlooked. The setting is nice as well, its VERY 1970's but its cute. I don't mind it. However, the service is so bad I want to scream sometimes. They will randomly put things on... More
