Fresh food, not partially unique. The only thing kinda off is a Chinese restaurant that serves deli mustard , peculiar , huh ? Food was good , served outside , riverside-on a beautiful night -sweet !

Food was delicious. Service great. Server knowledgable about taste and spiciness of dishes. Sake margarita.... Devine! Can't wait til it's warm enough to eat outside!

China Rose is touted as the best Chinese in the area. It's atmosphere is great but the food is lacking. It's true there are really no good Chinese restaurants in the area; this one included.

Not your typical Chineese restaurant. Interesting variations of typical fare. Unique decor too. Nice outdoor seating (when the train doesn't pass by).

This is a neat location in the tiny hamlet right on the Hudson river. We ate there after docking on the public dock, and again a few days later. The space is inviting and cozy and makes you want to love the place, while the Chinese menu is attractively prepared, and the saki margaritas are great, though a bit sweet.... More

China Rose was a fun restaurant with good food and great drinks at a fair price - until it was sold. The new owners jacked up the prices and dropped the quaility. It's not the China Rose people remember. Not worth the drive anymore.

We have been going here for years. New owners increased prices too much and quantity decreased drastically. This was always the restaurant that set the bar for Chinese restaurants...not any more, unfortunately.

I had a frozen Saki margurita, good and strong. My husband loved his pork lo mein.
