This place is amazing, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. There were two rooms to choose from for dinner. A more formal side and the side on the pub. We were offered both menus and could mix foods from both, which we did. We choose to eat on the pub side since we were not dressed up too much but... More

The venue: We were seated close to the bar in a booth that faced a second booth - I was facing a stranger - tables were just far enough apart to accomodate a server. While we politely ignored each other, it was a little disconcerting. The fire in the lovely wait area was down to a few embers - not... More

We ate here in March on Tapas Thursday in the bar.... three tapas for $20 plus 4 wines to choose from for $5 glass. The tapas were outstanding, chicken pot pie and scallops were great. The service was amazing... I think our waiter's name was Terry. He was the perfect waiter and we told him so..... Friendly, helpful, polite, prompt........ More

This is a very nice Inn that I would like to come and visit one day with my wife. We visited the restaurant with the kids for a nice family dinner and were very impressed. We sat in a booth in a sitting room, close to the main fireplace. The service was attentive. Pulled Pork Poutine: Yes. You must try.... More

Had high expectations after reading the reviews. The bar seats were not that great to begin with as the bar is a bit stuffy. The fondue was really great, and so was the wine selection. But the burger was not good at all, and i am still wondering what the reason was because I have not had a burger like... More

At the Interlaken with a group of friends. The basement bar, dining room and lobby are comfortable and homey. The pub is a gem. Our room was bright, pleasant and had a great bed. Mary and her staff were friendly and attentive. Everything at dinner was first rate: crab cakes, duck spring rolls, Caesar salad, filet, chicken, seafood over pasta.... More

The Interlaken Inn is a wonderful place to experience a first class meal in a homey B&B environment. The chef is very creative and the service is friendly, warm and efficient. Always a wonderful selection of entrees and interesting appetizers to choose from. The Inn also features a beautiful view of the woods surrounding Mirror Lake.

We came as a group of 8 friends for a nice dinner, booked a week earlier. The restaurant was nice. Warm atmosphere. Beautiful location. The waitress was shockingly flippant. Reading other's reviews, we must have had a "temp" from the pub next door. She threw our buns on our plates; was not helpful when we had questions; very impatient when... More

While we stayed at The Mirror Lake Inn, we wanted to spend New Year's Eve at another location. Based on positive reviews, we made a reservation for 9 of us (4 adults and 5 teenagers) about 2 weeks ahead of time. Our own experience aligned completely with the positive reviews I had read before. The restaurant was right around the... More

An inn that's much more New England and Adirondack than Switzerland despite the name, a nice menu and excellent gracious service make for a enjoyable experience. Located just up the road from local favorites The Cottage and The Mirror Lake Inn, this converted house has a pleasant dining room with an impressive bucolic mural over hardwood walls. The waiters go... More
