They had many specials and very good crab cakes. They make a delicious Caribbean salsa which is served as an appetizer with fresh corn chips. The menu has something for everyone, but has several fresh fish choices. The view is spectacular at sunset and we loved the view of mirror lake.

My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza hotel. They operate the Boat House and offer a free shuttle to the resturant. That was very convienent. Went there with six friends while at a conference. Great views of the lake and village in the evening. Dining room half full and no one put front to seat us. Finally a waiter summoned the hostess. I wanted to take my boyfriend on a romantic date for just the two of us. The Boat House Restaurant was just that. We had a nice meal for the two of us. The service was excellent and attentive. I only wish it was nicer out so that we could have eaten on the deck overlooking the lake.

We had a great dinner at the Boat House. The view on the lake is beautiful! Service was friendly and prompt. Food was excellent. I had the fillet, and it was very flavorful and tender. We will definitely be back.

Everyone really enjoyed their supper. The schnitzel, pepper steak, and crab cakes ordered by others were all excellent. I felt like something different so I ordered the curry (a little nervous because they are often bland and disappointing in a non-Indian restaurant) and it was rich and flavourful. Desserts were all very good. I would recommend it to others.

My wife and I visited the boathouse for dinner. It is located at the edge of the lake. The frozen lake looks beautiful under the moonlight.
