The restaurant is right on the water. There is outside seating but there will definately be a wait. I was there in off season and we had to sit inside. The atmosphere inside was alittle dated. Our food took awhile to arrive but the sandwiches were delicious.

The outdoor fire was burning, the martini was outstanding but we ordered too much food. Had melted brie with raspberries, salad with warm chicken BBQ and a wrap. The wrap came home for the next day, and was excellent. Our table sat lakeside on a deck overlooking the mirror, that they call a lake. What a wonderful spot!

We ate here after a long day skiing at Whiteface. Arrived during happy hour - talk about a "hopping place"! It was crazy - but we got a table right away and were served just about as quickly. We were able to get a great table for our lunch and the food is absolutely outstanding. Service was great. Great for children, also. Many choices. Beautiful view.

Beautiful view. Service is ok. Food terrible. Went for a nice lunch before the drive home. We both ordered salads with grilled chicken. What arrived was salads with steaming,wet,grizzled filled pre cooked store bought chicken strips. I could not believe we were served this. I only hope the cook saw what was left of our meal. Absolutely disappointing.

We had lunch at the Cottage Cafe on 2/23/13. The service was excellent and the pulled pork sandwich was excellent also. A little pricey at $12 for the sandwich, but it was a lot of meat so it was worth it.

Great place to chill and warm up. The food is not great but its well priced. Not many options to choose from, but service is good, although the room is pretty crowded. Sit near the windows and have yourself a couple drinks nothing else really matters.
