When you arrive at the top of the World you are dazzled by the Views and you realize this is a country club. Then you ask your self how good can it be? Well... it does not take long to realize that the Farmhouse is possibly one of the best restaurants in the entire region. The chef/owner is clearly passionate... More

Fresh food, friendly service. Lunch of soups, salads, sandwiches or burgers etc. Dinners too. Amazing golf course and lake views. Nicely positioned up a mountain and out of the town.

This restaurant gets 5 Stars as far as restaurants in Lake George. It's farm-to-table awesomeness, bite-after-bite. The chef puts together some pretty awesome dishes and it turns out he's formerly of Blue Hill Farm, a restaurant that's been on my list to try based on its reputation, alone. We had a lot of great dishes over 7 courses but the... More

I was only in town for a night, but happily stumbled upon this gem. The squid small plate was better than one recently eateb Rome. So simple, yet fresh and delicious. Menus change weekly. The freshest imgredients are used. Service was exceptional. Well worth the trip.

Had lunch on the porch two days in a row prior to golf. A small but diverse menu, we enjoyed the roasted tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwich, beet salad and fried chicken sandwich, all deliciously prepared. The views from the Top of the World are worth the drive up and the golf was fun but bring your own clubs.

We stopped over for lunch; smaller menu than dinner, but still good. We had the salmon, the burger and the pork sandwich. All enjoyed their meal, including my preteen son (who loved it and did NOT have the burger.) The onion soup appetizer was rich in dark onion flavor;extremely well done. The banquet room overlooks the golf course; Lake George's... More

If you love food grown locally and expertly prepared, you'll love the Farmhouse at The Top of The World. We went there on the recommendation of the place we were staying. As it turned out, the night we went they were having a family-style "harvest dinner". The food was really excellent. There was a wide variety of dishes. During the... More

Food was great, lighlty season so you can take the flavor of each ingredient. Service was good and they certainly did not rush your meal. Wish the view from the tables. Menu is limited but everyone should be able to find something.

Rooms not cleaned when staying more than one night. Breakfast low budget and not very good. Golf course is okay but has no cart paths for the most part. Over priced golf and accomodations. I have stayed at much nicer B&B's with private baths, larger clean rooms and good food for less money. $200 per night is way too much... More
