What a wonderful evening ! We were made to feel very welcome...we came in with our 2 children and were seated right by the fireplace...we had 3 course American style thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings - roast turkey, sweet mashed potato, Autumn vegetables, pie for dessert...perfection! Furthermore, the staff were wonderful. Our children were well accommodated with pasta when... More

Last Saturday they were having a party at the bar. This is not a large restaurant and it was really loud. Our table was close to the bar and we were told by the owner not to worry b/c the party would be over shortly. About 30 min later when there was no sign of the noise letting up and... More

We hadn't been to this restaurant before and were very pleased with our experience. We did go before 6:30pm on a Saturday for their $30. three course and feel this is how we will go to this place as otherwise many entrees are in the $30. range and the bill will add up very quickly. The nice thing about this... More

Had dinner just over the weekend. Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time as dining is impossible on a weekend. We were seated promptly upon arrival so all started well. We were seated next to the staff serving table so they were constantly behind us which is a bit bothersome. Waiter was friendly and service was prompt. I... More

Ate there last night. I find Hamptons dining often to be a notch or two below NYC eating because it is hard to staff up and achieve excellence for only the summer months - but they really delivered. I had oysters with a cucumber mignonette and the rack of lamb special and they were fab! They mixed a fine Cosmo... More

The staff couldn't be nicer! Everyone was friendly, attentive and unpretentious. We sat outside in the garden on a Friday night and it was lovely (although I would recommend spraying your ankles in advance). The inside seemed fine, but the noise level was a bit higher than we preferred. The white sangria is especially nice and I would kill to... More

Race Lane has a fantastic setting, and a great location. I ate there with a friend this past week and we sat outdoors in the rear patio, which, if it's not too hot, is a great location for a dinner. Our meals were tasty, and the drinks delicious. I especially liked the english "Pimms Cup", which is a drink you... More

My friends and I tried Race Lane on the recommendation of a family member who is extremely picky about restaurants. The atmosphere, the service and the food were all very good. We sat in the garden on a beautiful summer evening last week. There was a nice crowd outside with a mixture of ages (20s to 50s) but it was... More

Visited Race Lane ( The old Laundry) on July 4. Very nice Dark & Stormy at the bar before rest of group arrived. Overall very good food...good service. Sat outside but inside was very inviting. Was not crowded but we were out on July 4, most folks in EH not out that night. Will try again later in the season... More
