Had a great week with my son in Cooperstown for his 12u baseball team except for a meal at both back alley grill and Cooperstown diner. The reason I mention both restaurants is that in both instances each restaurant tried to "sneak" fees on my bill! Turns out both are owned by the same woman who is rude and has... More

My brother and I were in Cooperstown, like many other guys, to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame for a couple of days and we were looking for a restaurant that offered meals at night without being too expensive or fancy. We searched for it in vain for awhile because it actually is in a back alley. The street... More

We first went in for drinks and to look at the menu, sat upstairs at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and the atmosphere was soothing. We back in the following night for dinner (prime rib was the special for Saturday night). Husband said that the prime rib was very good and compared to other places in town maybe a... More

Live in town. Always try to support the locals. Will probably never go back. The food was awful. The chicken pot pie had no chicken in it and was a small, tasteless serving. The steaks were grisly and tough. The service was terrible. It was way too expensive for such awful food.

Three adults and one 18 month old went there for dinner. We were in the downstairs diningroom totally by ourselves until one other older couple came in about 15 minutes later. It appeared most of the action was in the upstairs bar area. It took 15 minutes to be acknowleged by our waitress. She got our drinks, took our order... More

Great staff, great location in town, especially if your within walking distance and average food at a good price. We were with a groupt of 13 people and they were very accomodating on a Saturday evening. The fajitas were good.

They have turned what was once a wonderful, charming restaurant into a tacky, pseudo-Southwestern waste of space!! Food is terrible, decor is beyond terrible and service is slow, slow slow. A real shame!

Loved the food. Meals were a bit pricey but the meal was not too big and was delicious. It really is in a back alley but easy to get to.
