We took our Mom and Dad out for their 40th anniversary on Saturday to the Holloway House in Bloomfield. Not really impressed...the bartender was just plain mean and the server was not nice either. For the price of the entrees I expected much more. The food was good, but I definitely never need to go back.

Food is nothing special. Prices above average. Attitudes aloof. Credit cards could be a problem. Hostess ,part owner, rude and very customer unfriendly.

The draw to The Holloway House has to be the chance to go back to the time your grandparents would take the entire family out for a special meal together. Problem is the menu hasn't changed. The baked goods are very good. The buffet is not. Overpriced.
