My wife and I have been here twice, and we absolutely love it. Their menu is funky, but not over the top. We had a beet salad that was amazing. The sirloin and the short ribs are also excellent. They prepared a cool twist on english "pudding" made with parsnips. They also have a solid drink menu and wine list.... More

Hands down my favorite restaurant! The food is fantastic! The grass fed slope burger is my favorite burger anywhere. Everything is fresh, organic and the atmosphere is totally unique. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. This restaurant is certainly worth the visit and you will not be dissapointed! Bob

We had a reservation for four and were seated immediately. The bread is out of this world. Try not to eat too much like I did because the food is too good to miss. I had the risotto (perfect!) and short ribs (a tad too rich). I tasted my husbands seafood soup and it was wonderful. I ordered a cucumber... More

Our family stopped by the Peekamoose at the recommendation of a local couple we met hiking on giant ledge. The atmosphere, a mix of rustic catskills meets fine dining with zero 7 playing in the background instantly helped us unwind. The prickly pear martini helped as well ;) The staff knew to keep our boys busy with crayons and delicious... More

Everyone told us we HAD to go to this place. We have tried it 3 times now. First time, it was ok. Menu is not that varied and sevice is very slow. Prices are steep. I can't say first time was that bad though. Unfortunately, the second and third times we ate there, BOTH TIMES, I got sick. Getting sick... More

I give this place a 2 because of the service. However, the food is delicious - really top rate modern cooking, and a good wine list too. But the service..... It was attentive at first but then slackened off completely. The bread promised by the waiter at the beginning never came. After our main course, half of our party's plates... More

We were staying in Margaretville for two nights and heard great things about this restaurant. The food and service were excellent and the ambiance was so woodsy cozy!! We had the scallops (EXCELLENT) and the rainbow trout for entrees and started with the chicken livers (EXCELLENT) and the endive salad. We started with a pot of chai tea to warm... More

We had a Saturday night reservation in April at Peekamoose. I had heard great things, so we were excited. First off, the food lives up to the hype. All the dishes were awesome, and even better than you expected. The restaurant decor is nice too, it's a little quirky, and the restaurant is huge. The drawbacks are that, despite having... More
