We were looking for a place for a mid afternoon break/mini lunch and were trying to avoid fast food, so we got ourselves into the old part of town and went into Passion Pie. My husband and I had pastries, which were great and our friend had green chili, corn quiche which looked fabulous. Don't be put off by how... More

This is a great place to chill in Truth or Consequences. Great local art on the wall. Sit and watch people walk past, or read your paper while you wait for nothing in particular. I chose a vegan date/oat/nut bar and my friend picked a scone. It's a good spot to get the local vibe, too. If you're staying in... More

Had a great cup of coffee here. We also had a delicious, fresh apricot and ginger scone and shared a yogurt, fruit and granola. Nice place with local art. It is definitely a locals hangout. Everything that went by our table looked wonderful.

The little coffee shop in town. Amazing baked goods and strong coffee. Cool factor is high. Local artwork and fun music.

My daughter had recommended this place to me as she had previously visited the town. I enjoyed the atmosphere - comfortable, friendly and chilled. My first visit I sat and wrote for sometime without being disturbed or pressured to leave. I visited for good coffees, yummy light lunches, and chats with people I knew and others I did not. The... From the outside, this place looks charming and funky... Except for the lady that sat outside the place the entire day (we seemed to pass by the place pretty often, since it is such a small town) and smoked. Turned out she worked there and would smoke a cigarette and then come inside and serve customers. The food was over-priced... More

my first visit was a lunch with a local friend and it was a very happy experience. I think anything on the menu is going to be a winner. I've been 3 times so far and very pleased with each meal. Salads are wonderful, service is always with a smile, the scents in there are so tempting. It is a... More

This little cafe around the corner from our lodging was an excellent find. The food was absolutely delicious and free Wi-fi too. It seemed everything on the menu was good and we were offered a sample of one of their desserts to try. I would definitely go there again. I'd like to try everything on the menu.

Mmmmmmm...... you could spend a whole day here sampling the treats! Start with breakfast, where the "breakfast croissant" comes packed with eggs bacon and cheese in a fresh croissant. Yummy! Or maybe a fruit waffle that is piled high with strawberries, bananas, granny apple chunks, and whipped cream! There is a large selection of coffees, lattes, and such, along with... More

Traveling on the road for 10 days is difficult if you are looking for anything more than gas station coffee. Passion Pies was an unassuming oasis! The espresso is local and beyond fantastic. There are a lot of healthy and delicious treats to grab and go, such as date bars and muffins, etc..Vegan and gluten free items are available. The... More
