I really don't know why our waitress ignored us after we arrived, she went through the very small dining room and it was very difficult for her to avoid even looking our way as she had to walk past our table repeatedly for the first 20-30 minutes after we were seated, but she managed to do it. The place wasn't... More

We made a reservation for Fat Tuesday and it was an outstanding "Fat Tuesday". My husband and I both ordered the antelope. It was flavorful (not "gamey") and melted in our mouth. The service was friendly and attentive. The room is lovely and romantic. This will be a repeat for years to come.

The menu was a bit expensive, but it seemed typical of a hotel restaurant of such high quality. Service was very good.

We had a very good dinner experience at De La Tierra. I was expecting a lot more variety and different menu offerings given the "eclectic" menu that was advertised. Besides having Elk, Duck, and Bison burgers, the rest of the menu was pretty traditional. I'd recommend dining at this restaurant, especially for their steaks!

Have been here many times. Consistency is an issue. Sometimes the food is great and sometimes just so so. Service also varies. However, it is so beautiful I would still recommend it to anyone coming to Taos. Beautiful gift shop, too, and the free valet parking is wonderful, especially in Taos! When it doubt order the elk burger or hamburger... More

We were staying at the Monte Sagrado and decided to stay in and dine at the restaurant after traveling all day. We made a reservation for 8pm with Open Table although we arrived an hour early we walked right in. It was never busy so we received really good personalized service. We had a crab cake appetizer which was pretty... More

After reading earlier reviews we had some reservations but were pleasantly surprised. Obviously the restaurant is trying to develop a better image. The service was excellent and the food quite good ...esp the calamari. we would go there again for a special occasion
