We were driving from Capetown to Mossel Bay and stopped a little bit by chance in this excellent pizzeria. It was excellent : the pizza were good with a thin dough; the red wine pinotage was a good choice and we appreciated the coffee. Don't hesitate to take a beak at the Woodpecker. Price is very reasonable.

Fantastic coffee! Great little menu. Had an aubergine sandwich that tastes fantastic. Do try it out!

We arrived early afternoon from Capetown in Swellendam. This restaurant is next door to the Bed and Breakfast Bloomestate. We had lunch outdoors, which was very pleasant. I ordered a pizza. There is only one size: large. The size is enough for 2. Luckily doggybags are no problem.

We stayed at the Rothman Manor and this pizzeria is right next door so a 2 minute walk away. It's good simple honest food at a reasonable price with great service.

The tables outside made for a good setting. Found the service to be slow despite the waiters trying their best. The pizza and focaccia bases were extremely hard. Despite great reviews we found our meal to be average.

Right next door to Rothman Manor, so we went in on a rainy night. Really nice atmosphere, and great pizza.
