It doesn't get more typical Americana than Mel's. We've only been here for breakfast and it's always been spot on. The coffee's good, the service is great, the food is exactly what you've ordered at fair prices. They just don't make them like this anymore. Mel's is WAY better than the other breakfast joints I've been to in Villas,NJ.

Found this little place driving from Cape May to Wildwood via The Villas. It's charming, staff is friendly, food is good. If you like to stop at a place "locals" like - you'll like Mel's.
