Stopped at Twistie's for a cocktail last weekend and what a mistake. The place is a not kept up and has one redeeming quality in that it sits on the back bay. The bar tender was nasty and slow and we were charged $26 for two Grey Goose and cranberry cocktails. Never again!

I understand this is pub food but my crab cake sandwich was dripping with grease. Drinks are expensive. Dining area way too loud. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

Twisties food is fantastic, the view is magnificent and the staff is the best! Denise and the entire crew make ever visit wonderful. The burgers are homemade none of that flat pattie nonsense, the salads are fresh and crisp. Prices are right in line with other area restaurants maybe even less. Would recommend highly

Have not eaten, but drank plenty! Neat location and cool vibe! Been there forever and looks it although been cleaned up in recent years. Have to be careful with old time Jersey Shore charm... you can dial it out quickly if you clean it up too much.

Twisties is all about the location, view, and atmosphere. It's a great spot and a rare treat. The food was much better on our last visit. Steamed clams were excellent. Everything else was decent.

Went back to twisties last weekend in hopes that the food would have improved. Unfortunately, it was awful and extremely expensive. At those prices I would have expected regular silverware (not plastic) and not plastic tablecloth. Sevice was less than par. not to mention, I witnessed an exchange between a manager and a service worker that was unprofessional, uncalled for,... More

Twisties is a favorite watering hole for our Sea Isle/Avalon families. We love the views and general rustic atmosphere. It's best when the doors and windows are open. We have Twisties t-shirts going back at least a decade. Would love to see management go more creative with this years design.

Twisties is a living reminder to a by-gone era. Atmosphere is that of a true fisherman's bar. Swinging screen door, old time juke box, ancient mounted fish on the walls and the infamous carved coconut heads lining the ceiling make this place special. There is nothing better than starting happy hour a little early by leaving a scorched beach to... More
