Nice location, but Amelia's over the last four years has been consistently ordinary to worse. Too bad, it would be a good alternative to light horse.

I have recently moved to the area and have been to Amelia's several times because it is the closest restaurant to my apartment. I must say, that I would travel much farther to go here. The atmosphere is nice and the food is great. When you are seated, they take out this giant stamp and stamp down the special. This... More

Had a wonderful meatball sandwich for lunch. Would of received 5 stars if it had been more reasonably priced

I've lived in the area for 15 years. Amelia's is good, solid food (although they have a big turnover of wait staff, the service is mostly fine). Amelia's and Satis are the main places I eat on a regular basis, and Amelia's is my college-aged daughter's favorite place to go when she's off of school. It does get a big... More

Just moving into this area, I am in love with Paulus Hook area and their restaurants. I have been coming to Amelia's every weekend. Sometimes even Saturdays and Sundays. $4 mimosas and bloody Mary's. My favorite brunch item on the menu is fried chicken and waffles. The best!!!! Mimosas are made with fresh squeezed OJ as well. Go to the... More

I love this bistro! Everything we tried was so yummy. Dining in or having delivery were both speedy and fresh . If you only have one choice I can't recommend the Mac and cheese enough!
