We eat here on a VERY regular basis year round and can not say enough good things about this place. We are breakfast regulars from the Jersey Jim with a side of tomatoes and multigrain toast to the Jeremiah 29.11 - it is always fresh, hot and served with a smile. Amanda, Justin, Liz, Caroline or Bernie. They have a... More

We were looking for a breakfast place on the Saturday before Easter. Everyone we met suggested Georges but when we drove past it looked like there were people waiting to get inside. So we went to search for Cape May diamonds. The really nice woman in the gift shop there said the restaurant across the street wouldn't open for a... More

My wife and I are avid birders/photographers and often make the trip to Cape May during the migrations, typically spring and fall. We've tried a lot of places in and near the Washington Square/Mall and were disappointed in most of the places we tried. Just by chance we happened to be on Broadway and spotted Bella Vida. Now we stop... More

Drove by the restaurant many times over the past year, and finally decided to give it a try for lunch on Good Friday. What have I been waiting for?? Terrific place with a completely different food experience than any other place down the shore! My wife had a carrot, orange and mango drink that was awesome. We both had the... More

My lunch guest and I visited for lunch on a Sunday, after I'd taken the bus (NJT) from Camden. It's the way to go for relaxation! Don't expect a bike rack on the bus- have to stow in luggage compartment and bike could be damaged. Anyway, https://bellavidacafe.com/menu.html this is the menu link. I had the Happy Thanksgiving Wrap and it... More

We have been there numerous times and have never been disappointed. We enjoyed diner at Bella last night and we were both thrilled with our choices, I had seafood scampi and it was cooked to perfection, it was the reversal of most Cape May restaurants it was lite on pasta and heavy on seafood. My wife had a chicken and... More

We have a summer home in Cape May and are always looking for new restaurants to recommend to our guests. I came upon Bella Vida while friends were down visiting Cape May. This cute quaint little restaurant was a great find! The breakfasts are delicious and fresh. The staff is wonderfully friendly. We met Amanda the last time we went... More

This si a great breakfast spot. Only bad thing is if you go late, expect a wait. Food is fresh and good. Not just plain old breakfast. All around good experience. We do go back.

Thank Goodness stumbled upon this place. The prices are reasonable and the pancakes and french toast are delish! I had huevos rancheros. Amazing! The ingredients are just so fresh tasting. I agree with another reviewer. The place is dirty. I guess it doesn't bother me as much because I love Cape May. Also, don't sit outside. It's in the blazing... More

I ate there for the first time this weekend. We had lunch. The daily special was blackened salmon with grits and asparagus with holandaise sauce. It was delicious, cooked to perfection, flavor full, not too much sauce. The Costa Rican coffee was great. Someone also had the sweet potato fries which were fantastic. We will definitely be returning. I can't... More
