We stopped in for an early lunch and loved it. The wine list was first rate and the wait staff terrific. Our waitress even gave us suggestions about renting or buying property in the area which turned out to be spot on when we talked with realtors. Try the scallops--excellent.

Had a great meal at Rudi's on a relatively slow Saturday night in the dining room. The ribeye and the rack of NZ lamb were great. The atmosphere at Rudi's is perfect for a brunch. The two jazz musicians were a delight. Food and service were excellent. We can't wait to go back.

Rudi's is tucked in a back street in Portsmouth, so the view is not a reason to go there. But we enjoyed our lunches, and we enjoyed dining in the lounge area. We each had a salad, adding shrimp to one and salmon to the other. Perfectly fine. Service was pleasant and professional.
