We have been to this restaurant more than 20 times over the years! I don't ever remember having one bad meal! For those who say pricey, I don't get it. A combination clam and scallop plate is under $20. You get a salad, coleslaw and fries. They always have specials each day and even have all you can eat specials.... More

I have never heard anything good about this place so in 25 years of living in the Plymouth area i had never eaten here; i tried it a couple years ago and it was nothing to write home about. Recently my girl friend had been talking up George's, her co-works get food here occasionally and they all love it, so... More

My family and I used to be regulars here. The food is good but the service is terrible. I was seated with my 3 kids on Saturday night smack in the center of the restaurant and two servers passed by us at least 10 times. Another couple came in after us and had their beverages brought to them and order taken... More

I should have known better than to order a crabcake so far from Maryland. Crabcakes were listed on the menu as an appetizer. 3 for 8.50. At that price, I had higher expectations. The cakes were heavily breaded and I bet frozen. There was no meat in them that even resembled crab. I really could not tell what the ingredients... More

Love their Fish and Chips and shoe string onion rings. Get it every time! Husband loves the clams. Only complaint is the service is very slowwwwwwwwwwwwww.. If you're in a rush, don't eat here!

The owners buy their fish at the coast, and bring it up several times weekly to Plymouth (just two hours' drive). Their prices are reasonable, and their fish is perfectly cooked, not too long, but hot as Hell. And their onion rings are among the best I know of, anywhere.

The seafood here is delicious! Mild (not "fishy", and tender. Service is always good when we eat here. We never have room for dessert, but maybe one of these days we will be able to stop before we get to that "too full" point to enjoy a dessert there.

After reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived, but my folks like to eat here each year. The restaurant is a combo walk-up and dining room. The dining room is pretty mom & pop so if you're looking for high end this isn't the place. If you want great tasting food George's is... More

locals like it and so will you--nothing gourmet but excellent, fresh seafood. Huge selection of ice cream flavors for dessert.

Had lunch here and the service was very good the waitress was friendly and engaging. The food was so-so, however it must be said that I did not order seafood so that might have been my fault for not ordering their specialty.
