Hammersmith Sandwich is basically a lunch place(at least in the winter), open 11AM-3 PM. Quaint little place tucked away from Main St. Great food at a very reasonable price! Homemade soups and excellent sandwiches. The owners are always there, friendly and responsive. Best lunch place in Exeter!!

It's a cute little place off the main road. You actually need to go behind the building to find it. I love the sandwich soup combo. It's perfect for a cold day and the food is great. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

The sandwiches are amazing! The ciabatta bread is to die for. They are such nice people and even after a month of not going they remembered my regular order. They are always super fast but never skimp on quality! Definite hidden gem.

The sandwich was good quality and well prepared. Just didn't like the taste combination. It was the hot roast beef with barbeque sauce. I will try something else next time.

This is our favorite restaurant in Exeter. The different soups each day are always excellent. We usually eat here once a week. The Homestyle Turkey is my wife and I's favorite sandwich. If you are in Exeter for lunch, there is no better place to stop!
