Victor serves up some great dishes including lamb, duck, venisio, Bratwurst and Wiener Schnitzel Moderate pricing and delicious with very good friendly service. The RIverview also has a view of a small stream and countryside from the entire dinning room.

If there's a special of the day--try it. If not, our perennial faves include Veal Zurich (a Swiss specialty) and Zoe's Chicken.

Probably best restaurant in New Hampshire in my experience. Well prepared with low sodium, which is important for all of us. Wonderful service. Try wacky Ice cream called 'Maple Bacon'. Also enjoyed it.

We recently dined at the Riverview restaurant. They are now open for summer hours and are serving all weeknights/weekends except Monday. First appetizer choice was the generous and lovely pate appetizer which we shared. I have not had pate this good south of Quebec city. It was outstanding, and served with a small green salad, pickled baby onions, and cornichons. I... More

There aren’t many decent restaurants in the Bretton Woods-Bethlehem-Twin Mountain area, mostly pub fare. The Riverview restaurant at the Wayside Inn in Bethlehem is certainly outstanding, and not expensive. The chef-owner Victor Hoffman has maintained a consistent high quality menu – excellent and great presentation - for many years. The room is charming with great outside view. The atmosphere is... There aren’t many decent restaurants in the Bretton Woods-Bethlehem-Twin Mountain-Littleton area, mostly pub fare. The Riverview restaurant at the Wayside Inn in Bethlehem is very different. French-contemporary American style Bistro type; tasty, elegant presentation, and not expensive. The chef-owner Victor Hoffman has maintained a consistent high quality menu for many years. The room is charming with great outside view. The... More

We always love to eat here after an invigorating day of nordic skiing at Bretton Woods. The Swiss / German / Austrian specialities like wiener schnitzel, spaeztli, red cabbage, are great, as is the service.

We stumbled upon this restaurant haphazardly, but we were very excited that it happened. It was really a nice suprise to find such a good German inspired restaurant so close to Bretton Woods. The restaurant was situated inside a small inn. The entrance was nothing glamorous, but the food was great. The food was authentic and carefully prepared. The waiting... More
