I liked this place. Was looking for a casual meal and got it. The pizzas are excellent. I had the duck pasta and loved it. The wine list is good but too expensive hence the lower star rating.
Maybe I was expecting more from a Scott Conant property which resulted in a let down. We visited about three weeks ago and had appetizer and two entrees. We ordered the beef carpaccio which was lackluster. The sauce on the beef was pedestrian and we have had better (at Olives). We ordered the Macherroni which is supposed to be Scott's... More
We had a fantastic meal here. Tried to get into Scarpettas but couldn't so we went to DOCG....which was perfect! Service was too notch, and good was off the charts good! Dinner for two, appetizers, two pastas, and one soda and one wine, $100. For Vegas, and for such fantastic food, a great value!
Saw an episode of "the best thing I ever ate" on Food Network where Scott Conant talked about a dish his grandmother made called Gnudi's.. Well, I had the chance to try some at D.O.C.G. in Las Vegas and let me tell you.. they were AWESOME... ricotta and spinach pasta like balls that were divine. In a light tomato and... More
We went to D.O.C.G on a Saturday night with a group of 7. They were booked up, but we managed to squeeze in when another party was late for their reservation. All of us ordered different pasta dishes and every dish was incredible. We ended up all trying eachother's food. There was so much flavor and the pasta was perfectly... More
I was so disappointed with this restaurant, after hearing good things about it. We started with their crispy pork belly, and garlic fries, which were both good. Unfortunately our main courses were not great. I ordered the "Pici" which was recommended and one of their specialty pasta with duck sauce and black truffles, and my friend ordered their short ribs.... More
If you're at the Cosmopolitan and looking for a quality dinner that doesn't force you to part ways with all your poker chips, consider D.O.C.G the perfect spot. We were a group of six with no reservation on a Friday night, but they squeezed us in and the service was excellent. The only reason this isn't a five star is... More
Never know what to order here - everything is so good. Had the arancini - makes my homemade rice balls pale by comparison. Ordered the chicken - it was a small complete chicken - so delicious and tender. Had the afogato for dessert - it's espresso poured over ice cream - it's incredible.
Had a great late evening meal at DOCG. Our server Troy was fantastic, funny and very professional. Prawn/panchetta appe and Margherite pizza were the best I'd had outside Italy. Simple yet delicious food. Scott Conant should be proud of his little gem.
Relatively good food, somewhat good service, drinks were average, etc. It was an okay visit, but I wouldn't go back. They also (accidentally) added a bottle of wine to my bill, which I never ordered/consumed. They took off the item and sent the manager over to apologize, but I really think they should have done more about this problem. Normally... More
