Broadway Oyster Bar made for an enjoyable afternoon. Food is above average for a bar, and service was good. The outdoor patio is very enjoyable and they have live music which is a plus. Excellent atmosphere but the drinks are overpriced.

My wife and I enjoyed diner here on a low keyed Monday afternoon. The food and service was top notch, we had a sweet young lady as our server. We usually do not eat oysters but we decided to give it a shot for a little fun, they were not to bad however I wouldn't want a steady diet of...

Fun atmosphere , friendly staff, great band. We had Caesar salad ( very good) I had the charbroiled oysters, they were ok . My husband had jambalaya , he liked and we shared the fried shrimp, we both loved. Next time I'm not sharing, I want all for myself! No reservations, near Busch stadium .
Got a table right away, great atmosphere, unbelievable food, and drinks. Worth the price. This is the place that sets the bar for the best meal you have ever. Even if you just want to have drinks and sit and talk with friends great for that too, laid back casual and fantastic!!
My husband and I were in St. Louis over a month ago. Great weather...we got to go to the top of the Arch, take a boat ride on the Mississippi and visit the Zoo (which is one of the few zoos I know of to be free of charge), Delicious food. We went to three noteworthy places, but the Broadway...

Great little place close to downtown and the stadium. Great beer selection, decent wine, OK prices.
Companion had fish tacos--looked great and freshly prepared. I had crawfish enchiladas: protein well-cooked, but they were served in flour shells, which became pretty gummy as they soaked up the sauce.
Great, friendly server who provided help with the menu. Locals were there (who...

Grilled oysters were awesome. Outside seating was fun. Very casual atmosphere. Lots of different beer on tap.
I passed this restaurant while walking from my hotel. I like dives and I like oysters, although I know full well that Middle America is no place to get them. This was actually a cozy little place, and it was packed, likely from the bar scene. I agree completely with the title of another review here: Go for the Atmosphere,...

The Broadway Oyster Bar is a pretty legendary hangout after Cardinal games, just as well known for their patio and live music as they are for their food. I hadn't been here for either in probably ten years or so, but I know I've recommended it to tourists and friends probably 50 times. So I may not be a loyal...

I love this bar, I really do. But I don't go here to eat. And I realized why the last time I went. The food is just not that good. And the girl at the table next to us found two hairs in her burger...yikes. But this place is great for live music and enjoying some adult beverages either before...
