Quaint diner in Doolittle, MO (just outside of Rolla). Good food and good service. Reasonable prices. I'd definitely eat here again.
This is just a roadside dinner type of place with good home cooking. We both had the fried chicken and it was really good. Pan fried with a nice crispy outside and juicy inside. Sweet Tea was really good. They did have a smoking section (first one of those I have seen in awhile), so keep that in mind. Service... More

Had the chicken...okay...now what? Okra fine...cole slaw standard...waitress pursuing other interests....pay in Gas Station? Charm escaped me.
Nice travel stop just off I-44 near Rolla, MO. A leg of Route 66 lies to the south at intersection T. Beautiful part of the Ozarks. Plenty of parking both paved and gravel. Pavement is motorcycle friendly, gravel lot big enough for trucks, buses and RVs. Good Ol country cookin and atmosphere. Home of the King of The Road Burger... More

Unfortunately, we waited almost an hour from when we placed our order to when we were served our food. They were busy... More
