We had house and Caesar salads, St. Louis style veggie pizza, and a pasta dinner. We went early, and musicians were setting up to start at 7:00p. The place is decorated with Rat Pack pictures and Sinatra, Ella, and Harry Connick were heard in the background. Very good food, with prices somewhat on the high side.
The Frontenac Grill was not at all busy when we were there for lunch on a weekday. Hope they have more business other times or they can't stay in business. I ordered soup and salad--clam chowder was delicious and gorgonzola/walnut/lettuce salad was very good. My significant other enjoyed fish tacos. The service was very slow, especially considering the lack of... More
We've been there several times in recent months and have never been disappointed. Once we were part of a large group, other times we were there as a couple. We go for the food and entertainment. The pork chop, according to my husband, is the best in town. Everything we've tried ... steak, salmon, salad .... has been delicious. The... More
We had a Groupon for this restaurant and decided to go there for lunch. We are vegetarians and were going to have pizza cuz we figured it'd be good. However, looking at the menu, I saw a portabella sandwich which I had and my husband had a pasta dish with marinara sauce. I also had a sald--very green--and my husband... More
We enjoyed dinner and live music in this newly renovated bar and grill. Pizza is Talayna style and comes w 4 different crusts. Gluten free and vegetarian dishes are available. Lunch, dinner, carryout. Large bar area w flat screens to follow multiple games simultaneously. A nice watering hole in mid county. We liked the crab beignets, ribollita soup, and seafood cioppino.
The food was good, but if you are not a an of Frank Sinatra, don't look at the decor. Service a bit slow, but friendly. Pizza really good, sandwich good as well
The only positives were the live band and the wine. The parking sucked, the service was worse. We had a large party, and for whatever reason the waiter dropped our order 30 minutes after some people got their salad (even though some specifically asked him not to delay their order). Got there at 7:30, got the food at 9:30. Tried... More
I am not sure who monitors their web site e-mails. On two occasions I have requested information and have never heard back. I can easily take my business elsewhere since it seems like they could care less.
My wife and I decided to go here because of a jazz group headed by an acquaintance, Curt Landes. It turned into a delicious evening. Besides the enjoyable trio, we had a late supper... calamari, ravioli, salad. Excellent. Our server was on top of his game; name is Denny. We'll be back.
