I try to come here whenever I am in town. They do everything the proper way - Food, Service and Ambiance. I ordered the Butternut Squash puree soup for my appetizer. For my main, I ordered the pan seared sea bass which was perfect. I have ordered the escargot, Mules Frites, etc and they were spot on on their preparation.

I can't speak to the experience of eating in the dining room, but grabbing a delicious Vincent burger and a glass of red wine at the bar during Happy Hour is something I do each time I visit the Twin Cities on business. The bartender is fantastic, and eight dollars for a delicious burger stuffed with smoked gouda and short... More

I agree with many of the prior reviews that basically say this is OK but not great. There is plenty of room between tables, decent wine list and entrees that strike me as limited and on the pricey side. Service was adequate but didn't knock our socks off.

The food is not necessarily typically French, but the restaurant has a good location. The food is good, it has a pleasant ambiance and it is not noisy, which makes it great for entertaining discussions. I would consider going back.

The owner might be French but the restaurant would not be considered to be worth visiting in France. The cassoulet that they served was a pale watery concoction with little in the way of meat. As for the owner he treats his customers with contempt and is the classic caricature of the mistaken belief here that the the French are... More

French/American - with chef owned attention to detail and some long standing old favorites like the hot fudge sundae with madeline cookies (alas I am gluten free now, so no longer can eat the cookies!) Fantastic burger - not your run of the mill ground beef - try it and see! Also really good comfort food - hearty risoto or... More

Vincent sits in between casual French brasserie food and ultra refine French dining. The table are apart enough to give the fine dining experience as with the friendly yet discrete service. It is not a snobbish joint by any stretch of the imagination. The food is carefully made. The cassoulet is wonderful as is the escargots (a little salty). Anything... More

Was surprised the place never filled up. Menu was some what limited. The scallops were ok, but not great. The lamb shank was ok. Best was the warm mushroom salad. They did write happy birthday on my desert plate. Glad we tried it, but won't hurry back.

We had a good meal with excellent service at this busy downtown restaurant. We arrived a bit later in the evening with reservations but they seated us right next to the kitchen which, I think, was good because it was a bit quieter there. The scallops were very good, as featured in other peoples' reviews and so was the steak... More

A friend and I stopped in on a cold winter night for cocktails and a snack. We ended up having their Rose Champagne, steak tartare and mini duck breast sandwiches. It was all very good, especially the perfect skinny potato strings. Service was very professional, prompt and informative as to the menu but not chatty ( which I dislike very... More
