Stopped here while on a snowmobile trip for lunch. Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful staff and awesome menu items! It's a small place with maybe 8 tables, and a great view of the lake. We had the mac & cheese bites, a Reuben sandwich, and the fish sandwich. All items were great, and served piping hot! Full bar too and... More

We enjoyed a family dinner last Saturday night. Camel Riders is a lake front cabin converted to restaurant with great high view of lake and very good food. I had the ribeye with broccoli, french onion soup, salad with wasabi ranch dressing. Also fresh warm bread for the table. My family had lightly breaded perch and sirloin steak. All were... More

They have the best prime rib ever. I shouldn't be saying this because if too many people go and order it there may not be enough for me. Their rib eye is also fantastic as well as their white fish. My wife loves their lamb which is an oddity to have in the middle of the forest in the UP.... More

The Camel Rider's Restaurant is hard to find in the woods of Delta County Michigan in the UP. The setting on the lake is beautiful and tranquil, the food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and the service was superior. I had Walleye and it was very tender and tasty. You get soup, salad, potato and your entree for the price.... More

Several people recommended Camel Riders, but honestly we didn't know what to expect. But wow, we're we surprised...and pleasantly so. While the dining area is smallish, the ambience is wonderful - a log cabin decor with red linen tablecloths overlooking a picturesque lake. And the food...wonderfully prepared with ample proportions at a reasonable price. The four of us ordered a... More

Great place to eat for a special night out. Not a fancy place, it's a little older log cabin with seating for about 30. Menu isn't huge, but the food is amazing! Never had a bad meal here, Prices are kind of high, but worth it for a special night out. Sits right on a beautiful lake.

I have been visiting the UP of Michigan for over 25 years. I have yet to find a place with better food and service. Other places might have specialty items they are known for. At Camel Riders, every item is incredible. Make reservations in advance.

Truly a treasure of fine dining in the backwoods of Michigan's U. P. Located on a lake, the small restaurant offers great steak and fish with exceptional service. Reservations are recommended. Open year round. The last several miles to the restaurant are on dirt roads, but well worth it

Excellent steaks and fish. Steaks are always cooked to perfection, perch was lightly breaded and sweet tasting. The ribeye is my favorite. Margie is an excellent waitress. Cozy restaurant located on a chain of lakes in a resort area. Well worth the drive! Reservations are a must since it has such a small dining room.
