It was a packed night so we opted to dine al fresco. Old buildings, cobblestone paths, good company, great food and nice staff.

We spent mother's day 2013 at Vigan. It is our first time at this historical city, after a whole day of walking and visiting different tourist spots in Vigan we decided to have our dinner at Cafe Leona which is one of the many restaurants located just before entering the famous calle crisologo. First: The person who took our order... More

We visited Ilocos Sur together with my boyfriend for the first time. It was already our second day in Ilocos Sur and we are preparing to go home that day to Baguio. There are a lot of other restaurants around, however, we decided to eat at Cafe Leona for breakfast since this restaurant is very popular in Vigan and we... More

With its breezy location near the town square, at the edge of the cobbled tourist strip, I was expecting a more unique atmosphere. But somehow it all felt so inexplicably generic, even in the pretty glow of the falling dusk. Sure, the vibe was upbeat and cosmopolitan. Yet it didn't quite add up to a special experience. This place offers... More

I may say that their menu is overwhelming, however they have ready made food to choose from (which is better when you are very hungry). Got the creamy chicken with baby corn, paksiw na tilapia, spicy pork/beef and seaweed salad. I should say, their food is so tasty, really good. Ordered 1 pepperoni pizza. They are all tasty. But I... Overpriced for an average food. Long wait for food and to be seated. I think more than anything your paying for the ambiance. We tried the house specialty- morcon, pinakbet and bagbet

always crowded when I visited the place for lunch. Service is quite slow I have to call the attention of the waiter several times just to get our orders. They only have few staff given that the store is almost full of guest. Food is ok. Prices are not much expensive since serving quantity is good for 2pax already. Hope... More

we tried the longganiza pizza which was very good. I think it's because of the perfectly cooked crust. We also had some sizzling gambas which was just ok... The thing with the place was that it was 'very' dark. So we visited in the evening for dinner and the place was so dark. Like it's hard to read the menu... More

i liked the chocolate drink, although served in a little teacup still ok, didn't like the murcon because it just looked like my mom's imbutido only with the salted eggs and a lot of green peas. we ordered KBL and it looks like my mother's lechon kawali... on our last day in vigan we ate here again and there was... Tried their longganisa pizza. Yummy! :) The place was so packed on a Monday night so expect to wait. Go there when you're not that hungry or eat something to fill you up a little as the service is quite slow.
