Standard fare with just enough variety; that is, if y out like seafood. The prices keep keep you from coming too often. Seafood lovers delight at Legals because it is all perfectly cooked and very large portions are served. I always have enough for tomorrow' dinner. Wood grilled flavor is nice, but so are all the flavors. The menu is... More

I've been to 3 Legal Seafoods and I don't buy it. Every dish that I have had has been ok, never great, and feels overpriced. Colleagues and I went on a Wednesday evening and the place was packed so maybe it's just me but I think there are better alternatives!

I had the Cioppino on recommendation of our bartender (we sat at the bar - very fun). OMG! It was fabulous, a perfect balance of tomato, garlic and fennel in the broth. The seafood was fresh and the lobster claw must have come off a sea monster! Go there. Order it. You will be satisfied.

Let me just start off with saying, I would have given the restaurant one star, but the service was the only thing that made me give it two. Why so close to one star? I'll explain. My date and I waited close to one hour between our appetizer and entree. Our dishes were a huge disappointment. Knowing how fresh fish... More

Legal Sea Foods in Framingham used to be a fairly good restaurant. Not anymore. We ordered lobster bisque, dumplings, cioppino, salmon and sole. The food had a common denominator: Insipid. All dishes appeared to be prepared by an amateur short order cook, they lacked taste, had minimal condiments (not even salt!) and the presentation appeared third rate. The claim to... More

The food quality expectation was high. It was duly 'talked up' by our server, so we thought we were in for a treat. The reality? My starters was no more than an average dish of two scallops overcooked in a sea of lumpy hard cooked beans. The main courses arrived, whilst my wife was still eating her starter course!!! The... Their slogan is: If it is not fresh, it is not legal. And right they are. We frequent both locations in Boston area - in Boston and in Framingham. The food is always exquisite, well prepared and presented and the servers, nice, smiling and swift. My favorite is 2 lbs. lobster, just steamed with a mountain of crisp french fries.... More

Legal Seafood is a very well know sea food restaurant chain in New England, and it is great to have one out in the Natick/Framingham area. It is right on Rte. 9, just across from the Natick Mall, and it is a "must do" whenever we are in the area. Like their saying, "If it ain't fresh, it ain't Legal",... More
