This was a place that we went to probably two or three times a week. A place where I tipped well and also gave the waitresses and owner Christmas gifts.. Well it has taken me over a year to write this, but here goes. One morning it was POURING OUT.. We went inside and waited for a table by the door.... More

Everything is good very very clean the bake goods are made there fresh everyday. The breads which there are many are so good that when you go elsewhere you are disappointed. The sweet goods such as muffins are the best also. I have not tried the cakes but they are always working on Wedding cakes or special events cakes. I... More

Fine it behind Dairy Queen going east on Main street, park in back and have a seat. The general fare is pretty much as expected for a diner setting - good, but basic - but substitute Portuguese sweet bread to a two eggs selection and whatever and it's a real treat. If your temptation level permits, stop at the bakery... More

Our first morning in Falmouth, MA we stopped in Mary Ellen's for breakfast on the recommendation of our hotel desk clerk. A little crowded and noisy but the food was good and the waitress extremely pleasant and attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Small family run place, a favorite with the locals. Good breakfast at a great value. Loved their fried dough. Worth a stop in the morning for a traditional eggs and bacon breakfast.

We live close by and go to Mary Ellen's quite often. Always great service, great raisin toast, eggs cooked just the way ordered. Great prices, particulary for a vacation town.

Our family of 4 chanced upon this gem for brunch as we headed to the Steamship Authority ferry bound for Martha's Vinyard from Yarmouth, Cape Cod. The breakfast menu was great and the food excellent, especially the Portugese sweet bread. Coffee was better than the average the typical diners serve. Best of all, service was great and genuine. Ample parking.

This little place was a great treat. Very nice owners who make the food and serve it. All the regulars go here. They do all the baking and food is fresh. We were lucky to stumble on this one and enjoyed the experience. Check it out............you won't be disappointed.
