If you are looking for a nice place for lunch on the Mid Cape, don't miss the Wild Goose Tavern, located inside the Wayside Inn, Main Street, Chatham...we ate in the bar, lots of windows, and in better weather, there is also outside seating...affordable menu, creative flatbreads, "best on the Cape" clam chowder and attentive hostesses...then, take a walk down... My wife had an excellent lunch with our daughter after shopping in Chatham so we both returned for dinner. Pleasant bar decor located on the main street. Dinners were delicious, well prepared and hot, lamb and salmon. Very tasty breads. Efficient service. Didn't select the reasonably priced salmon salad. Next time. We plan to return soon.

Average in atmosphere but really enjoyed the mushroom pesto flatbread I had. Would go back just for that! Convenient location right in downtown Chatham.

We actually had a late lunch one day and dinner at the Wild Goose Tavern. We enjoyed both immensely.

My husband and I took a break from hitting the shops along main street for a glass of wine and some hummus at the bar...it was lovely.

I NEVER send anything back and ordered the lobster bisque and just knew it was "off" after first bite. I didn't want my husband to taste it in fear of getting sick. I just pushed it aside and when the waitress noticed I didn't eat it asked if everything was ok. I explained it tasted bad and was afraid it... More

We came here again to enjoy Easter Brunch. The Buffett is good and selection ample but at $42 per person we couldn't believe the coffee wasn't included. Won't return out of principle....with tip the bill was $113 for the two of us. Not quite worth it.

I liked the menu choices as did everyone in my party, even the kids loved it. The drawback is that it was very noisy in the room where we were seated. Ask for a kids free room if you are not with kids.
