Not a tourist restaurant. Not just run of the mill shrimp, steak, crab cake. Although they have that. Fine food, well prepared, good value. Food and service is always consistent. We live local and Jules is always on our list to eat out.

I had a killer shrimp appetizer -- one of my favorite dishes ever. They offered a three-course dinner for around $30, but I didn't want that much food. Apparently reservations are often necessary, but I just sat at the bar. It's hidden in a strip shopping center at 118th Strret. Find it!

We go back to Jules every time we visit OC. Great food, drink, service and value. The menu is definitely varied and offers fresh local food and seafood. We always bring home leftovers which reheat to continue the wonderful dining experience. My only disappointment is the ceiling.

This is where we go in OC when we want a 'nice' restaurant. Nicks is our favorite for casual. Here there are linen tablecloths and napkins. The menu variety is good and the food tasted fresh with a more elegant presentation. Small restaurant without the noisy crowds. Family friendly but not the menu or prices for bringing kids. We did a family dinner here (5 adults) for a 60th birthday celebration. It was during Restaurant Week and they were offering a fixed price menu of 3 courses for $30. Each year we visit Ocean City we have diner at Jules. It is fine dining from the apptizer to dessert. The atmosphere is relaxing, meal is presented beautifully and the service is excellent. it is more than the chain resturant but everything is made to order. Deffinately worht it!!!
