Food is not bad, but the prices are way to high for what you get. The waitress was very nice and helpful, but I still can't swallow the prices.
Menu is too confusing. Rickety furniture. Booths falling apart and unsafe for sitting. Portions small considering the price. Waiter was great.
I've been dining at this Melting Pot twice and the one in Annapolis MD a couple of times year for around eight years. I've received poor (or worse) service at this particular occasion both times. While circumstances were not ideal--we had a large party (12 people) including several children--good service should be the norm no matter what. My wife, myself,... More
Came here on a Thursday night for dinner and had a great time! The booth we were put in was nice and cozy for the two of us. The diners on the other side of us were pretty loud but we didn't mind at all. Our server was really friendly and helpful and their gluten-free selection is incredible! Was so... More
Service here was great, but I didn't really get the concept behind the restaurant. In this place, they give you the ingredients and you make your own food. Can't say that's why I ever go to a restaurant... And it's pricey! The food wasn't even that good, maybe because I made it myself.
coming here is always a great treat as i never do fondue at home. the restaurant ambiance is very nice and while it can sometimes be noisy with children and loud people, the experience is really fun for a casual date or going out with friends and family. allow yourself at least 2 hours if you're doing all the courses.... We arrived on time for a 6:45 reservation. We could tell it was busy but the hostess said they were just getting our table ready. To make a long story short, it was 45 minutes before we were seated. The excuse was that many people were not leaving their tables. So we order a bottle of wine. Then we fine... More
We went to the Columbia Melting Pot for my brother's birthday. We ordered the 4 course classic for two couples @ $78/couple not including drinks. Pros: the food tasted great and the portions were substantial. Cons: poor wine/beer selection and the place smelled like burning cheese. Worst part of the evening was when the bill arrived: $242 without gratuity. The... More
Went with a few girlfriends (2 of which had never been there)...we had a great time catching up, but one must really know ahead of time that this will take at least 3 hours or more. Don't go starving or you may lose your patiene waiting for things to cook...it's a slow, laid back dining experience. Like I said, we... More
